Echinacea Purpurea Magnus Superior flowers deep pink maturing to a rich red. Tall but doesn't require staking. Excellent with tall grasses to create a New Perennial style planting or Prairie style. Flowers are long lasting, and can look good for months on end. A very impressive and reliable plant.
Flowers July to September. Eventual width 40cm and height 1 metre. Good on all soils but doesn't enjoy being waterlogged in a boggy soil.
This is a hardy perennial meaning it will die back in Winter but will survive any winter conditions and return the following years.
