Deep crimson, pincushion-like flower from June to September.  A must-have for the natural garden it is a magnet for bees and butterflies.May gently self seed but never becomes invasive.  Can sprawl and become leggy, plant with Stipa Tenuissima or other suitable plant to provide natural looking support.  Cut down to the ground in autumn once flowering is finished.
